Lace Up, Train Station! Should We Start a Run Club? 🏃‍♂️👟

Hey Train Station Fam!

We know you love crushing it on the weight floor, smashing your personal bests, and sweating it out in our fitness classes. But lately, we’ve been thinking: why keep all that incredible energy trapped inside four walls?

We are gauging interest in launching an official, Train Station Fitness Center Run Club, and we want to know if you’re in!

Whether you’re a seasoned marathoner, a casual weekend jogger, or someone whose current relationship with running is strictly "only if something is chasing me," this club is for *everyone*.

Here is a look at why we want to get this off the ground, what’s in it for you, and how you can help us make it happen.

Why a Run Club? (The Benefits)

Running solo is great, but running with the Train Station crew? That’s next level. Here is what you can look forward to if we launch:

The Ultimate Cardio Complement: Building muscle is awesome, but pairing your lifting with structured cardiovascular training is the ultimate recipe for endurance, heart health, and overall athleticism.

Built-In Accountability: It is much harder to hit the snooze button when you know your gym community is waiting for you at the starting line.

Zero Pressure, All Pace Levels: This won't be a hardcore racing team (unless you want it to be!). We will have different pacing groups so nobody gets left behind. Whether you want to sprint, jog, or power-walk, you have a place here.

Community Beyond the Gym: Sweating together inside the gym builds strong bonds, but chatting during a scenic outdoor jog builds a community. It’s a great way to meet fellow members, make friends, and socialize.

Post-Run Rewards: Let’s be honest—nothing makes a post-workout smoothie, coffee, or weekend brunch taste better than earning it out on the pavement together.

What Would It Look Like?

We want to design this around *your* schedules. Ideally, we are looking at meeting once or twice a week (perhaps a mid-week evening jog and a longer Saturday morning run), starting and ending right here at Train Station Fitness Center.

We will map out safe, scenic routes, provide tips on running form, and maybe even target a local 5K or 10K race to train for as a team!
